Advisor Spotlight: Emily Yuen, MD, MPH

Meet Dr. Emily Yuen, our newest Senior Advisor here at Passport. Emily spent four years on UCSF's pediatric residency interview and ranking committee. She read the applications. She sat in the room when candidates got ranked. She interviewed people during her chief year. Before any of that, she went through the process herself, as a Passport Admissions advisee.

We recently sat down with Emily to talk through the residency application from every angle: essays, letters of recommendation, interviews, and rank list strategy. Her experience on both sides of the table gives her a perspective we want every Passport student to hear.
