The Personal Statement for medical school was driving me crazy until I started working with my editor at Passport Admissions. I was really struggling to get my thoughts down on paper, but my editor helped me tell my story in a concise, compelling way.

I was honestly very overwhelmed when brainstorming my school selection list. I wasn’t sure where to start, as there are so many options and criteria to think about. Once I scheduled a meeting with Passport Admissions, I was able to clearly establish my particular list of criteria and find schools that best matched this.

Topic - Choosing Your Activities
Narrowing down the activities that interested me before medical school was one of the most stressful things I have ever done. I’m interested in examining the heart, but at the same time, I’m interested in looking at the makeup of cells. But once I scheduled a meeting with Passport Admissions, I was able to clearly narrow down which activities best suited my skill set.

Hey Everyone,
I just got some advice from the doctor I shadow, and I wasn’t sure what to think about it. She said that I should avoid taking a gap year before medical school if I can avoid it. Even though I think I could strengthen my application, she says that I should try and apply anyway this cycle to see how it goes.
What do you all think? Would I be making a mistake or taking a risk? Any advice would be appreciated!

Hey Everyone,
I’m in the process of beginning my studies for the MCAT. I have been struggling to find a timeline that works best for me. I have heard that one should neither study too far in advance or too late. I’m not quite sure what this means. Also, I am looking for any resources that people have found extremely helpful to them when preparing for this test.
Does anyone have any advice on what they believe an effective timeline would be? Are there any resources that were extremely helpful and that you feel contributed to your success when taking the MCAT? It is greatly appreciated!
