China graduated with a BA in Creative Writing from Florida State University and a MA in English from University of Texas Permian Basin, where she edited undergraduate papers and peer/graduate work. She loves encouraging others, particularly with the hope that they will find their way to writing their own great pieces of work.

Emily is a board-certified pediatrician and former Chief Resident at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Pediatrics Residency Program. She previously served as a student interviewer for Oakland University William Beaumont (OUWB) School of Medicine and later as a member of the interview and residency ranking committee at UCSF. She specializes in helping residency applicants with CV/experiences revisions, guidance on how and whom to ask for letters of recommendation, specialty selection, deciding whether to do an away rotation, rank list strategy, program communication, and realistic mock interviews.

Gracen grew up in Seattle and attended the University of Washington Seattle as a pre-med student before moving to the UK to pursue graduate school at the University of Edinburgh and Brunel University of London. She has spent her career working in healthcare operations across the US and UK. She joined Passport Admissions in May of 2024, and helps students navigate all of the services Passport offers. When she’s not working, you can catch her making shoes, printmaking, and whipping up new recipes in the kitchen.

Hannah is in her fourth year at Stanford University, where she is receiving a B.A. in Political Science and a Masters in Public Policy. She grew up in San Diego and attended University City High School, giving her a unique understanding of the local application landscape. Whether she’s lobbying for tech accountability in Sacramento, organizing wellness initiatives in San Diego, or bringing communities together for change, Hannah is always looking for ways to turn ideas into action.

Jodi was born and raised in a small town in Iowa. She was a first-generation college student who was accepted into physician assistant (PA) school right after completing her associate’s degree, back at a time when PA training was at the bachelor’s level. She went on to complete master’s degrees in healthcare administration and public health and a PhD in higher education.

Originally from California, Johnson attended UC Berkeley, where he studied Microbial Biology and Education. After college, he served as an English teacher in the Bay Area, assisting students with their college application essays and helping them ace the SAT. He looks forward to working with you to find your voice and help you achieve your goals!

Kyra is a California native who recently completed her intern year at Oregon Health & Science University and is currently doing research with UCSD/Rady Children’s Hospital before she completes her Dermatology residency at HealthPartners Institute. She is passionate about research and mentorship, with 20+ publications and experience mentoring students across all stages. She also serves as a “point person” for students at her medical school interested in research and competitive specialties like dermatology. Having participated in admissions interviews, Kyra brings unique insight into what makes applicants stand out. She focuses on helping applicants identify their "brand", strengthen their interview skills, and approach the process with confidence. Outside of medicine, you can find her playing with her husky, at a heated yoga class, or curating playlists (fun fact: she used to DJ in college!)

Lyn studied Psychology and Biology when she attended Yale. She started with The Princeton Review as an Assistant Director in 1999 and after 12 and a half years, the last three spent as Regional Vice President of the West Coast, Lyn decided to work with students directly to help them navigate the increasingly competitive and difficult college and medical school admissions processes, as well as providing much-needed emotional support for students and parents.

Mara Cobb is an English major pursuing a Master’s degree from Indiana University East (IUE). In 2019, Mara earned her B.A. in English, Professional, and Technical Writing from IUE. She has spent the past three years serving as a genre editor for the IUE literary journal, Tributaries. In that role, she has read and copyedited nearly 200 poems, fiction stories, and narrative essays. Mara is also a current member of the English honor society Sigma Tau Delta.

Mary Pagones is the author of more than 12 novels. Storytelling is her passion. At Wesleyan University and Harvard Divinity School, Mary studied fiction with creative writing teachers such as Annie Dillard and Jill McCorkle.

A native Mainer, Michael’s been in the admissions world for nearly 30 years, at a variety of institutions, selectivity levels, and has worn many hats over that time. His favorite parts of his career revolve around getting to know students, and engaging with their best selves—and helping them present their best selves to admissions committees and on applications. Interviewer, athletic liaison, transfer coordinator, communications specialist, event manager… there isn’t much he hasn’t done or seen in his career.

Molly Moore is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital marketing and advertising, having worked in the field for 15 years. She also successfully owned and operated her own business in Chicago before moving to Philadelphia in 2023. A proud Fordham University graduate, Molly brings a blend of entrepreneurial spirit and marketing expertise to her role as Marketing Coordinator.

Nick is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Western States and works as a counselor-in-training at Crux Counseling in Bozeman, Montana. Nick enjoys helping students tell authentic, compelling stories about who they are and what matters most to them beyond grades and resumes.

Niki Cunningham has been a pre-health and pre-law advisor for the past 20 years. She has a BA from Brown University (Women's Studies and Modern Culture and Media) and graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin (MA, English and Comparative Literature) and Columbia University (MPH, History and Ethics of Public Health and Medicine).

As a teacher and tutor for The Princeton Review, Rob found joy in helping students overcome their anxiety about standardized tests. Over the years, Rob's students started to ask for help figuring out how to tell their story in their application essays. Once word got out, Rob started to get more requests than he could handle, so his boss kicked him out (lovingly, of course). She told him to start a business, and thus in 2007, Passport Admissions was born.

Ryan earned humanities degrees from John Carroll University, Ohio University, and San Diego State University. Before working full-time for Passport, he worked in dozens of editing, tutoring, and instructing roles at five different colleges. He has also worked extensively as an editor for various literary journals, such as Narrative Magazine, New Ohio Review, and Fiction International. He has a strong affinity for words and feels genuine delight when the right ones are found.

Sam was born and raised in Derry, New Hampshire and moved to the Greater Bangor area in Maine for school and work. Attending the University of Maine, she played Division I basketball and was the fourth generation to play a sport at UMaine. For over five years between her work as the Career Counselor in STEM/Health Professions at the University of Maine and the Health Professions Advisor at Stetson University, Sam has helped countless students pursue their career goals and prepare competitive applications for various professional programs.

Sophie Morelli graduated with a BA in English Literature and Writing and a Master’s Degree in Secondary English Education from SUNY Potsdam. She has taught English at the middle school, high school, and college levels, helping students succeed in both creative and academic writing. She is a published poet with experience in marketing, copy-editing, and academia, and is excited to help students let their own distinct voices shine through in their work.
