Aubree was born and raised in Southern California so it was natural to begin her academic career in San Diego. She graduated from SDSU with a double major in kinesiology (pre-PT emphasis) and biology. A self-described walking contradiction, she is simultaneously a total science nerd and a kombucha-sipping hippie. She teaches spinal alignment and functional movement-based yoga in Del Mar and reads books on biomechanics for fun.
As a former human anatomy TA and member of Big Brothers Big Sisters, as well as a current yoga teacher, Aubree’s passion lies in providing a support system, whatever that may mean to her students - giving advice, a shoulder to cry on, or someone to laugh with. She has gone through the application process and is excited to share her knowledge and walk alongside her students as they grow and flourish throughout the app cycle.
In her free time, Aubree loves to spend time with her cats (Simba & Reptar), exercise, and travel for both business and pleasure. She has been attending orthopedic medical missions to Vietnam for the past two years and recently visited Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Austria, and Italy. While she is leaving the west coast for med school, she’s planning to settle in a place that’s eerily similar to SD - Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Hello, white sandy beaches!
