Stephanie was born and raised in Rochester, NY. She is a true Upstate girl, which means she is down-to-earth, kind, and has a love for Syracuse basketball and Wegmans (a famous grocery store with a cult following).
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Plattsburgh State University. After graduating, she enrolled in a Master’s program in Educational Administration and Policy Studies in Higher Education from the University at Albany.
Upon graduation, Stephanie couldn’t forget about her dream of living in Boston, which stemmed from visiting her extended family in New England while growing up. She and her brother would beg their parents to take them to the “big city.” After applying to what seemed like a million jobs, Stephanie landed a position at Tufts University as Degree Audit Coordinator, which meant she reviewed graduation credits for seniors.
After a few years, Stephanie started to explore student advising and fell in love with it. She received a promotion to become an advisor for pre-health and pre-law students. She holds eight years of experience advising pre-medical students at a prestigious university and has gained a national and regional reputation as a top pre-health advisor.
Stephanie lived a fun-filled life in Boston for 12 years. While there, she found a passion for the Red Sox, delicious seafood, amazing hiking, and running in the 2016 Boston Marathon. After a while, her heart and gut led her back to her roots in Rochester to be closer to family.
During her free time, you can find Stephanie working out (spinning, yoga, running, swimming, hiking—you name it, she probably does it!), traveling (she is going to Greece in June!), exploring the Rochester region, and hanging out with her family and friends.
