Liz Kataras - Passport Parent

"I signed up with Passport after attending, and being very impressed by, two of Rob's evening "introductory" sessions. Not having been a high school senior for about 40 years, I was pretty rusty on the admissions game, plus my high school senior attends a very sweet small school with little to no college planning expertise. My primary goal while looking into admissions help was to find an admissions counseling group that could recommend a suite of schools to which my son could realistically expect admission, while maximizing the amount of financial aid offered, as college financing is a very difficult issue for our family. And, it had to be a program I could afford.

The most valuable aspect of working with Passport was] the depth and breadth of knowledge and understanding about what is and isn't important to the college admissions process, both in general and for a huge variety of individual schools, shared in great detail with great enthusiasm, with near-instantaneous email and/or phone feedback for any and all questions, regardless of how naive, stupid, or unnecessary :)

Rob and Passport Admissions have consistently exceeded my hopes, providing very accurate advice about various appropriate (and unappropriate, or more realistically, un-obtainable) schools given my particular child's academic record, extremely helpful applications workshops and essay reviews, and unflagging encouragement througout the dreadful college applications process. We are now in the midst of acceptance season, and things are going very well, with one of my son's top-choice schools having offered him nearly full-tuition in financial aid. Rob's advice during the application process has been extremely accurate and helpful."
